Creative Marketing Helps NashMicro buy Training Kits


NashMicro, the Nashville Microcontrollers Users' Group, recently had a need to raise some money to buy training kits. This is a story about how they used their maker ingenuity to accomplish the task.

BroLUG, a group of over a dozen Lego builders, collaborated to build this fantastic cyberpunk model. Each BroLUG member, who are from different parts of the world, built a module and brought it to Chicago's BrickWorld convention, then recreated the city with additional contributors for BrickFair Virginia.

Today on Maker Camp: Playing With Plastic and Raspberry Pi


Today's Maker Camp is another twofer. Starting at 11am PDT, we're going to talk about vacuum forming, a process in which a sheet of warmed thermoplastic is shaped by placing it in a mold and applying suction.
